専門的なオキュペイショナルハイジーン（労働衛生工学）は、職業病の予防と労働者のウェルビーイング向上において不可欠であり、職場ハザードの予測、認識、評価、および管理を通じて、
安全で健康な職場環境の実現に貢献しています。
本セッションでは、IOHAの概要、現在のパートナーシップと関連する取り組み、世界でオキュペイショナルハイジーンにおける迅速な能力強化、世界各地域におけるオキュペイショナルハイジーンネットワークの設立に向けた取り組み、IOHAを支援する機会を紹介します。そして最後には、楽しく刺激的な「俳句」活動で締めくくる予定です。

その中でも、本セミナー主催であるIOHAの認定を受けたオキュペイショナルハイジニストは、世界では労働衛生工学の高度な専門家として評価されており、
2024年4月から日本で始まった化学物質の自律的管理においても、厚生労働省が定める化学物質管理専門家として位置づけられています。
The International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA) represents the global community of occupational hygienists. IOHA’s aim is to improve, promote and develop occupational hygiene worldwide through its member associations, and to improve and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all. The profession of occupational hygiene is crucial in the prevention of occupational diseases and in advancing worker well-being. Through the anticipation, recognition, evaluation and control of workplace hazards, occupational hygiene helps create safer and healthier work environments. This session will provide an overview of IOHA, some of our current partnerships and related work, the urgent need for building capacity in occupational hygiene worldwide such that the local, national and global workforces are served, efforts underway to establish regional occupational hygiene networks, opportunities to support IOHA, and a fun and inspirational Haiku activity to close. Please join us!
